I firmly believe there shouldn't be any.
All internationals should be played at the end of the season in a 3/4 week block.

International friendlies really need to be banned except for preparation for a major tournament world cup/euro. All other times it is just a FIFA cash grab that does nothing for any other party involved.

I think the upcoming winter break is a load of bollocks as well. They always trot it out as an excuse for the international team not doing well or our domestic teams being shit in the champions league but we made the World Cup semis last year and all four finalists in the European competitions were from the premier league.
BFS always took out lot to Dubai but we were still shit when we got back!

it must be very frustrating for clubs who's players don't go away. Players are starting to get near to full fitness and then they have a 14 day break.
Plus i can't see why the games can not be scheduled like euro games are, wednesday and thursday and games carry on as normal at the weekend.
